Art, Artists & Exhibitions

Where Are Quirky Fox’s artists from?

We are incredibly lucky to work with a range of New Zealand and international artists.

All of our international artists will be exclusive to us in New Zealand.

If you click on an artwork you can scroll down to read their bio and discover where in the world they are based.

How Often Do You Hold Exhibitions?

We aim to hold a new exhibition every six weeks but sometimes this varies. The best way to ensure you keep up to date with our exhibitions and new artists is to follow us on Instagram or sign up to our newsletter.

How Do I Become Part of Quirky Fox?

Can I Get My Work Framed?

Quirky Fox offers a range of custom framing solutions for both works purchased in the gallery and works you already own.

We explain it all here.

How Can I Pay?

At Quirky Fox we want to make purchasing art a fun and accessible experience.

With this in mind we offer a number of payment options and two payment plans.

We accept payments via PayPal, credit cand and bank transfer. These options are available both online and in the gallery. If you are uncomfortable paying online we can also take payment over the phone.

Do You Offer Payment Plans?

Quirky Fox offers two payment plans to make your purchases more accessible: in store lay-by or Art Money.

Option One: Lay-by

Lay-bys are available on all purchases over $90. This service is available both in store and online. If you wish to lay-by a purchase online please email us at

Quirky Fox requires a 20% deposit on all lay-by items via PayPal, credit card, cash or bank transfer.

Payments must be made either weekly or fortnightly.

Items will not be released or shipped until paid in full. This includes postage fees where applicable.

If items are collected in store you will need to bring either your invoice or proof of ID.

All cancelled lay-bys will incur an admin and storage fee equal to 15% of the total cost.

Payment can be spread over up to 10 weeks depending on the value of the item(s).

Option Two: Art Money

Art Money empowers people to buy art, supporting artists, galleries and a sustainable creative economy. Art Money splits your payments into 10 payments over 10 months. You get to take your art home as soon as your deposit is made and you have received Art Money approval. You can apply for Art Money here

How Much Does It Cost To Send My Art?

Postage within NZ: We know a lot of big companies offer free shipping store wide but we believe every order should be packed as environmentally friendly as possible and as safe as possible. Unfortunately, this comes with a cost. We have tried our best to come up with a solution that is fair to you, our artists and the planet.

Within New Zealand all items over $200 are couriered free of charge. Orders under $200 incur a $7.50 courier charge. We aim to send out orders the same day (within business hours) for delivery within 2-3 days of your order.

International Postage: We are happy to send items worldwide. Your postage will be calculated at the checkout. If your item packs lighter than estimated by more than 10% we will refund you the difference in postage costs.

Do You Ship Internationally?

We are happy to send items worldwide. Your postage will be calculated at the checkout. If your item packs lighter than estimated by more than 10% we will refund you the difference in postage costs.

Please note: Quirky Fox is not responsible for any duties or customs.

What Happens If My Item Is Delivered Damaged?

If your item(s) arrive damaged or there is a mistake with your order please contact us at 06 2786909 or email us

What If I Change My Mind?

If you are unhappy with your purchase or gift contact us at 06 2786909 or email us at within 14 days to arrange to return it for an exchange or store credit. Items must be undamaged and in their original condition. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or earrings. Shipping is non-refundable. We recommend using a tracked courier service to return items.
